TELUS Cybersecurity

As part of a holistic digital transformation, TELUS revamped its cybersecurity offerings and needed an updated Research & Learn flow to help enterprise customers find the right solution for them.

Nick and his team of designers and content strategists sat down with TELUS Cybersecurity's stakeholders to identify the objectives of the revamped flow.

First they looked at competitor offerings to help understand how other organisations were doing their storytelling, what worked or missed the mark, and how we could differentiate our offerings.

Then Nick worked with the stakeholders to define the offering. By starting with customer needs and problem areas the stakeholders were able to to identify the right capabilities to amplify, and align on the best approach to storytelling.

Next came an iterative design thinking-driven approach. With the customer needs and the storytelling solidified, the customer journey and site map were defined and grey box mockups were made. Stakeholders were called in to validate the thinking before moving on to polished mockups.

After working closely with TELUS Digital leadership to ensure brand consistency, quality, and accessibility standards were exceeded, Nick led his team of designers and content strategists through the process of creating pixel-perfect mock ups, packaged for hand-off to developers. Throughout the development process Nick remained a resource, assisting devs with navigating the component library and design system.
